Having been in the Credit Union industry for 28 years and composing reports for various supervisors I found that each report needed to appear like a story. These reports would aid management in understanding of what is transpiring in a particular department. Each report would need to be written as though the reader was present during the audit, like reading a novel.
Many times, throughout my career I have heard various supervisors say that my reports appear to look like a book. That is because I believe the more information provided the clearer and more concise the story becomes.
Now that I am retired, I still find the urge to continue writing, whether it is about family, travels, or thoughts.
